Coming to a garden, field or park near you

How do oases in the city make you feel?

Alongside our crowdsourcing campaign around where oases are in the city fo Munich residents, we are also looking to get more information about what makes these places valuable to people — especially given the impacts of urban heat. We have surveys distributed across the city where we ask passerby’s to take a minute to feel, think and reflect on how the green space may positively promote dimensions of their wellbeing.

Agriculture on Tap

Together with the Hans Eisenmann-Forum für Agrarwissenschaften we started a new lecture series. Here, we meet speakers from various fields of agricultural and environmental sciences for inspiring talks and lively discussion. We meet in a casual atmosphere in Freising to discuss scientific topics, and also livestream the events for those at home.

Safari Freising

The TUM "Urban Ecosystems Group" in cooperation with the StadtNatur of the Bund Naurschutz Freising starts a new format for exchanging urban ecology topics beyond the "campus bubble" with all interested. The "Walk & Talk" series explores the urban fauna of Freising - questions and ideas can be discussed at any time along the way. Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to deepen both over a cozy evening drink in the old town.
